FLOR DE SAL D’ES TRENC SPA is an innovative natural cosmetics line which combines the healing power of the sea
with the active components of Mediterranean plants. We use high quality Flor de Sal d’Es Trenc sea salt in our products
as well as extracts and essences from Mediterranean plants such as mandarin orange, rosemary, rose and lavender.
As the most natural sea salt available, Flor de Sal is a very valuable component. This salt only crystallizes under very
unique weather conditions. It is highly sought after by gourmets for its slightly sweet fl avour. But Flor de Sal not
only charms one’s palate, but also one’s skin: the
salt crystals are smoother than those of common
sea salt, so they help to softly cleanse the skin and
treat it with more than eighty minerals.
The therapeutic properties of the mandarin orange,
rosemary, rose and lavender are legendary. Pure
essential oils can be obtained from these plants.
Their aromas have different stimulating, relaxing or
harmonizing effects and give us sense of complete
wellbeing. The active properties of the plants help
nourish and care for our skin in a natural way.
Salt Connection Mallorca: Three women, one passion
FLOR DE SAL D’ES TRENC SPA was created by Salt Connection Mallorca S.L. The
brains and spirit behind this Majorcan enterprise are Katja Wöhr, Sabine Kersten and Trudi Murray. In 2003 Katja Wöhr
and Sabine Kersten began to harvest the salt crystals on the beach of Es Trenc. Currently, FLOR DE SAL D’ES TRENC
supplies its gourmet salt products to delicatessens and restaurants all over the world.
Trudi Murray is a cosmetics artisan. She has been producing natural soaps creams and oils with herbs and plants from her
own garden for fi ve years. The Gaia Natural Cosmetics products can be found in spas and select cosmetics shops.
These three women are not only united by their love for Majorca, but also by their passion for their products and their
belief in the healing power of Nature. This is how this trio has managed to put into practice an idea they had dreamed
of a few years back: to use the valuable properties of Flor de Sal to create a line of cosmetics.

One concept – four product lines Flor de Sal d’Es Trenc Spa offers cosmetics for body and soul. Based on the idea that each one of us must fi nd our personal equilibrium, Salt Connection Mallorca took Nature as its source and created four product lines:
Rose the rose is the symbol of love . It has harmonizing and invigorating effects and stimulates the senses. The oil revitalizes the skin and stimulates the base chakra- the rose is associated with water signs: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. und Fische.
Mandarin Mandarin is associated with joy and its fragrance revitalizes and inspires. Its extracts tone the skin and prevent stretch marks. Mandarin harmonizes the crown chakra and belongs to air signs: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.
Lavender Lavender generates peace. Its aroma calms the mind, the spirit and the body, helps to reduce stress and is related with the third eye chakra and the earth signs: Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo.
Rosemary Rosemary provides clarity and activates mind and body. Its essences stimulate blood fl ow and prevent cellulite and fl uid retention. Rosemary is associated with the solar plexus chakra and fi re signs: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.
Each product line has its own soap, its body polisher and its room spray. The high mineral concentration of the soap
helps revitalize the skin. The body polisher cleanses and cares for the skin: the fi nely ground plant seeds and the Flor de
Sal help eliminate the dead skin cells, whilst the minerals and the cocoa butter, rich in antioxidants, provide the skin with
the necessary nutrients. The spray perfumes the room and boosts wellness by applying the principles of
aromatherapy. The soap and the body polisher are sold together in the well-known tins of Flor de Sal d’es Trenc.
The spray is sold separately.
All the products are completely natural and carry no preservatives, artifi cial colouring agents or any type of artifi cial aromatic
substance. The plants used to make them are organically grown and manually processed with great care at the Gaia
Natural Cosmetics estate in the mountains close to Andratx. We harvest the Flor de Sal salt crystals in the traditional
way from the beach of Es Trenc. Flor de Sal d’Es Trenc Spa is a true island product: and the ideal gift for those who are
